Tertullian was one of those strange early Christians, one whom I like quite a bit since he was African!
He was of course also the person who said that the "blood of the martyrs is the seed of the faith". Naturally one needs to keep this within the context in which it was written. However, his courage for, and commitment to, the faith is inspiring!
How I wish we had more creative, non-conformist, committed Christ followers in this day and age! The world needs them!
